How to enable Human/Vehicle detection Colorhunter
This guide will describe the steps to enable Human or Vehicle detection:
Only one of the analytics can be enabled at a time, Human or Vehicle detection.
The camera should be at minimum 3 meters from the object being detected
1: Setup from Camera.
2: Setup from NVR WebUI.
Section 1: Enable Human/Vehicle detection from Camera.
Step 1: Login to camera WebUI using internet explorer which can be done by the following:
(default login password is 123456. Make sure to update the camera PW on the NVR if you are forced to change the camera PW on first login)
a) If camera is connected to local network, using EZtool find the camera IP and type it into internet explorer address bar.
b) If camera is connected to POE ports on the NVR, login to NVR’s webpage and in setup > Camera click on “Access” next to the camera you want to login to.
Step 3: Under Smart select the gear next to the analytic you want to enable and configure.
Step 4: In the “Cross line” menu, (the analytic we are using for demonstration).
b) Set the line for the “cross line” detection and trigger direction.
c) Set filter type, Pedestrian, Motor Vehicle, or Non-motor Vehicle and set the Max & Min size, depending on what you are trying to get alerts for. This will provide better analytics.
d) Check the box next to “Snapshot Object” to enable detection of the specified object. This will determine the object you are trying to get alerts for.
e) Save your settings.
Step 5: Set the trigger action.
Section 2: Enable Human/Vehicle detection from NVR WebUI:
Step 2: In NVR WebUI menu go to 1- Smart > 2- VCA config > 3- Select the camera from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Click the check box on the VCA you are enabling then the Gear icon to configure it.
Step 4: In the “Cross line” menu, (the analytic we are using for demonstration)
a) Set the line for the “cross line” detection and trigger direction.
b) Set filter type, Pedestrian, Motor Vehicle, or Non-motor Vehicle and set the Max & Min size of the object, depending on what you are trying to enable alerts for. This will provide better analytics.
c) Check the box next to “Snapshot Object” to enable detection of the specified object. This will determine the object you are trying to get alerts for.
d) Save your settings.
